There are synthetic softshell jackets like sand by the sea. They are de facto the most popular products in the outdoor industry and are almost always glued together from three different layers of material. The outer layer is always water-repellent and the inner layer is moisture-wicking. A fact that inspired us to develop a more sustainable alternative.

MATERIAL

The material off Developed over the past 2 years in collaboration with The Natural Laboratory , the 98% organic cotton and 2% biodegradable elastane gets its signature softshell look from a twisted weaving technique.
The water-repellent yarns are woven exclusively on the outside. This rare and highly complex weaving technique enables us to produce in just one layer. Patch pockets, collar, underarm and inner hood trims are made from our signature ultralight 100% organic cotton ripstop. The merino wool cuffs on the hem and sleeves were specially developed for JECKYBENG.

Qualität und Funktionalität

Wir produzieren nachhaltige Kleidung aus natürlichen Stoffen die von Haus aus funktional sind. Ob Stadt oder Land, unsere natürlich funktionalen Kleidungsstücke sind Pfc- und plastikfrei, aus Bio-Baumwolle oder Merinowolle und werden in Europa hergestellt.

Lieblingsjacke

Ich bin super Happy mit dieser Jacke und trage sie fast das ganze Jahr, eben der Temperatur entsprechend, mit mehr oder weniger schichten darunter.
Das Material ist super und macht beim Laufen auch nicht diese lästigen Geräusche, wie es andere meist aus Kunstfasern gefertigten Jacken tun.
Es ist jetzt schon meine zweite, sie hat wohl auch jemand anderem gut gefallen und wurde mir leider geklaut. Was mich etwas wundert, ist das mir XS mit 175 cm super passt.

Ein besonderes Kleidungsstück

Die Jacke war ein Geschenk und kam sehr gut an! Sie ist einfach nur schön. Sie fasst sich gut an, sieht schön aus. Man friert und man schwitzt nicht. Ein wirklich guter Kauf!

Allrounder

Das Softshell Jacket bietet einen hervorragenden Tragekomfort. Mir gefallen besonders die qualitativ hochwertigen Materialien und der stylische Look. Neben dieser funktionalen Jacke und dem unfassbaren Kundenservice von Thomas kann ich mich bestens mit der Marke identifizieren. Hier geht JECKYBENG die extra Mile, daher ist das für mich der neue Luxus in allen Belangen.

Ich wollte sie lieben und kann es leider nicht.

Vor einem halben Jahr habe ich mir zuerst den Natural Woolflece gekauft. Größe XS hat bei 158 gut gepasst. Form finde ich super. Nur beim Fahrradfahren kam sehr viel Wind durch. Dann dachte ich mir, da ich die Philosophie der Firma und den Look ziemlich Spitze finde, dass ich wohl die Natural Softshell dazu kaufen sollte, damit beim Fahrradfahren der Wind nicht an meinen, ich gebe zu, ziemlich Wind empfindlichen Körper kommt.
Heute dann bei den ersten kälteren Temperaturen (10 Grad) beide Jacken übereinander gezogen, und der Wind ist mir bis in den Brustkorb gedrungen. Das ist für mich leider in keiner Weise winddicht, und wenn ich jetzt schon noch eine extra Schicht anziehen soll, dann erfüllen beide Jacken zusammen leider einfach nicht ihren Zweck mich warm zu halten. Jetzt habe ich fast 450 Euro weniger und mir ist kalt, und ich muss überlegen, womit ich die Jacken zusätzlich tragen muss, damit ich nicht friere. Ich finde es mega schade, denn ich wollte sie lieben und bis für viele Jahre im Einsatz haben.
